FAQ

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most prevalent chemical compounds in the cannabis plant. Unlike the better known tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is non-intoxicating. CBD can be found in other plants too, like broccoli and kale, but the hemp plant is where it is most abundant.

Yes. CBD is legal to be bought in all 50 states of the U.S. Luce Farm CBD products are fully tested and verified by third party analytical labs, and contain no more than 0.3% of THC, which is the legal limit for THC in CBD.

Our hemp is grown on our farm, as well as other Vermont Certified Organic farms. All plants are grown outdoors to harness the power of the sunlight. Started from seed and grown in well fed soil the plants are irrigated with natural springs, and drilled wells.

GUIDELINES FOR LUCE FARM HEMP:

  • USDA Certified Organic
  • Plants started from seed
  • Dried to 8-12% moisture content
  • Contains 10+% Dominant Cannabinoid

We utilize the SuperCritical CO2 extraction method and feel it is the most natural, pure and environmentally friendly process to extract cannabinoids. This method provides us with a full spectrum oil that is free of residual solvents, and not only includes ALL of the cannabinoids found in the mother plant, but also retains the essential vitamins, minerals, Omega fatty acids and terpenes that naturally occur in hemp.

We craft our products in Bethel, Vermont. Our commercial production kitchen is certified by the Vermont Department of Health, and approved for organic production by the USDA, and NOFA.

We can’t speak for others, but we encourage anyone that is interested in CBD or CBG to be well-informed and to ask the right questions when choosing a product, such as: where is the hemp grown? What farming methods are used to grow the hemp? What extraction methods are used? How often do you test your flower or products for CBD content?

Please refer to your doctor or health care provider for any questions about the safety of our product for you. If you use prescription medications, take supplements or have underlying health conditions that cause concern, check with a health care provider to make sure that our CBD oil will be safe for your use. We are always willing to discuss our product with your health care provider and provide any information they might require to accurately answer these questions for you.
