The different stages of the hemp growing process call for different amounts of light, nutrients, and water. These stages tell us when it’s time to transplant, prune or train the plant. Determining a plant’s sex and overall health rely on stages of growth as well.
The life cycle of cannabis can be broken down into four stages from planting of the seed to harvesting the flower:
With a little soil, some water and warmth and in 5-10 day the seed will pop! Once the seeds are germinated the leaves shoot up and the roots dig down.
The first sign of life in our hemp plants are the cotyledon leaves which are responsible for taking in sunlight so the plant can be healthy and stable. Next come the iconic fan leaves that many relate to the cannabis plant.
This is when the plant is considered a seedling and roots begin to develop. Most of our plants are currently in the seedling stage, displaying larger and more defined fan leaves as they continue to grow and establish their root system.
The iconic fan leaves begin to develop and grow larger with more blades and fuller sets of leaves. This is the stage where growth really takes off.
The final stage of growth if the flowering stage. Once the flowers begin to develop, they require a different kind of care. This is the stage where the resinous buds develop (where the majority of the cannabinoids are present)
After the plant has been harvested, dried and extracted, the FULL-SPECTRUM HEMP EXTRACT is crafted into our line of high quality CBD products.
